2012 is an exciting time for sport here in London and to celebrate we are organising the first, ever London-wide sports campaign to get more people involved in sport in their local community
Give it a Go 2012 is the first, ever London-wide sports campaign and aims to support more people having a go at sport in their local area. All 33 London boroughs will be organising free sports provision for people of all ages and abilities over six weeks from Monday 13th February 2012.
This is a great opportunity to try a new sport or activity or rediscover one you once loved - all for free! There's something on offer to suit everyone's interests with over 150 free activities on offer across London ranging from Archery to Zumba!.
2012 is an exciting year for sport here in London with the Olympic and Paralympic Games fast approaching. Give it a Go 2012 is therefore a great opportunity for sport providers, residents, employees and organisations across London to be part of the build up and legacy of the 2012 Games.
Browse through the ‘Find Activities’ finder and choose your Give it a Go 2012 activity (s) and contact the sports provider to get signed up.
Offering free sport to local people can help drive new members to your club and raise the profile of your club through the extensive marketing campaign the Give it a Go 2012 Team will be coordinating across London.
